Lauren Steimle

Lauren N. Steimle is the Harold R. and Mary Anna NashEarly Career Professor and an Assistant Professor in theH. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and SystemsEngineering at Georgia Tech. Her work focuses on applying data science, systems science, and advanced analytics to improve maternal and population health outcomes. In her research, she integrates optimization, simulation, and real-world data to support better decision-making in healthcare systems, with a particular emphasis on maternal health access, equity, and care delivery. Dr. Steimle received her Ph.D. and M.S.E inIndustrial and Operations Engineering from theUniversity of Michigan, and her Bachelor's degree inSystems Science and Engineering from WashingtonUniversity in St. Louis.
