Demetra is a mother in long-term recovery and a highly credentialed advocate for addiction and mental health support. With certifications as a CARES (Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist) and CPS (Certified Peer Specialist) in Addictive Disease and Mental Health, she has been empowering individuals in recovery since 2021.
Her expertise deepened with a MATS (Medication Assisted Treatment Specialist) certification, and she became a Certified Labor Doula, helping women navigate recovery and motherhood. Demetra’s unique blend of personal experience and professional training makes her a trusted resource in her community, where she educates on substance use disorders and supports women through the MPS (Maternal Peer Support) team.
