Dee Warmath

Dr. Warmath is an Associate Professor of ConsumerEconomics and Innovation Fellow in the College ofFamily and Consumer Sciences at the University ofGeorgia. She is also the Director of CommunicationStrategy for the Biomedical and Translational ScienceInstitute at UGA. She earned her Ph.D. in ConsumerScience from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, anMPH from the University of Georgia, and a Master’s inSociology from Vanderbilt University. She held various senior positions related to data science and user-centered design in industry prior to academia. Her current research examines the pregnancy journey from the woman’s perspective and acceptance of health technology to improve maternal outcomes.
