Patricia Prime

Patricia Prime is the owner of Prime BabyTimeConsulting and the Executive Director of It Takes A Village – Maternal Health Expo, Inc. She is a RegisteredNurse, Certified Postpartum Doula, and InternationalBoard-Certified Lactation Consultant. Patricia describes herself as the bridge between the hospital and the home.She has a Bachelor's in Infant and Child Development,Bachelor of Nursing, and an MBA with aHealthcare concentration.As a Nurse Home visitor and Supervisor, Patricia has over25 years of experience working with expecting families and families with children in the home under the age of 3.She created the It Takes a Village – Maternal Health Expo event. In this space, she brings together agencies from within the community caring for the maternal population. The goal is to raise awareness of the maternal health crisis we face in our state and our community. We also teach the Village/community how to keep the maternal family safe. Unless they understand, there will be no need for change.She is a member of the Fort Valley Alumnae Chapter ofDelta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and resides in Byron, GA with her husband Edwin. They have three adult daughters Autrela, Samantha and Edwinae.
