Katherine Sylvester

Katherine Sylvester, affectionately known as Dr. Kat, the mommy monitor, is a wife, home birth mother of two, physical therapist, preeclampsia survivor, clinical assistant professor for women’s health, Georgia Women’sPolicy Institute Fellow, and VBAC-certified doula. She is the founder of Operation M.I.S.T. where she and her team teach women to use smart watches and blood pressure cuffs for safer pregnancies and better health. OperationM.I.S.T. partnered with HOPE for GA moms to help moms across GA have healthy pregnancies and postpartum journeys, avoid preventable complications and catch issues between office visits through the use of technology and remote health monitoring.
