
Toby Goldsmith
Dr. Goldsmith is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and an Eminent Physician at Emory University School of Medicine.
Since 1996, Dr. Goldsmith is a native New Yorker who was raised just north of New York City. She received her Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, an MD from the State University of NY at Buffalo College of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Goldsmith completed her psychiatry residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she also served as the Chief Resident. Dr. Goldsmith began her career in women's mental health upon completing her residency. She served on the faculties of the University of Cincinnati and the University of Florida before joining the faculty at Emory, where she served as the director of the Women's Mental Health Program from 2013-2026. Since 2020, Dr. Goldsmith as served Director of PEACE for Moms, Georgia's perinatal mental health access program. Dr. Goldsmith is invested in educating others about reproductive mental health, believing that it with education we will improve the lives of mothers throughout our state.
